For those not fully au-fait with the structure of South Wales Junior League Cricket, each age group is split into geographic Zones to facilitate travelling to weekly league games during term time. Each winner of the three Zones of each age group, plus the best placed runner-up, go through to play a semi-final match.
Surprisingly (!), the two winners are then rewarded with a place in the age group final, with the relevant cup at stake!
Following some consistently fine cricket played this season, our Under 13 and Under 15 Plate XIs are each through to their respective league semi-finals as winners of their respective Zones!
- The Under 13s, coached by Stuart Jones & Sam Harris, will play Port Talbot at Marespool on Monday 26th July, 6pm start.
- The Under 15 Plate team (Under 14s), coached by Gwilym Morris & Ray Anderson, will also play their tie at Marespool, on Thursday 29th July, when Clydach drop by for a 6pm start.
So, well done to everyone involved so far..you have each been a credit to your Club.
