“As we move into our next century, we remain committed to strengthening the foundations of the Club.
Continued investment in our facilities, coaching pathways, and training equipment ensures that every player — from our youngest juniors to our senior squads — has the best possible environment to develop and enjoy their cricket.
Our Junior Section continues to thrive, and the progress of our young players is a testament to the dedication of our coaching teams and the support of parents and volunteers.
The cost of operating a community cricket club has continued to rise. After careful consideration, the Committee has agreed that subscription prices will increase across the board for the 2026 Season. This decision reflects the increased expenses associated with ground maintenance, equipment, utilities and coaching provision. These adjustments are essential to maintaining the quality of our facilities and ensuring the long‑term sustainability of the Club.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
It is hoped that you will continue to want to be part of the Club (a) to enjoy the ever-improving facilities (& discounted drinks!) and (b) to ensure its future sustainability for cricket and for the benefit of the local community. The range of membership rates can be found on our “Membership 2026” under “Club Info” on the home page of our website, www.mumblescricket.com and on Teamo.
We would ask you to pay your subscription via BACS if possible, please – most Members already do to be fair.

You can also pay by cash, cheque or card at the Club. Finally, there is also an option to pay via Teamo, introduced 12 months ago to help us with the heavy load of Membership admin work! However, using Teamo to pay your subscription will involve an additional charge attached to you subscription, reflecting the fees levied by the company who Teamo use for this purpose.
The Clubhouse remains an important centre for the Club and the wider community. We look forward to another year of well‑supported social events, fundraisers, and opportunities for Members and supporters to come together. Your involvement continues to strengthen the Club and contributes greatly to its success.
