Our Under 15 Plate team (Under 14 age group) was defeated by Clydach at Marespool this evening (29th) in the semi-final of the SWJCL Under 15 Plate Cup.
After winning the toss, MCC batted first. At the end of our 20 over innings, we had scored 90-5. In reply, our visitors emerged worthy winners by just 3 wickets in the 19th over..91-7.
Having won every game on their way to clinching their Zone title and, with it, the honour of competing in tonight’s match, our guys have enjoyed a fantastic campaign this year. Coaches Gwilym Morris and Ray Anderson have worked hard with their charges and have certainly brought out the best of each within the squad.
SO, WELL DONE, LADS..YOU CAN BE VERY PROUD!
