After their first defeat of this season to Neath at Marespool last Saturday, Ryan Aingworth’s 1st XI wasted no time getting back on the horse at Port Talbot this afternoon (25th), with the 3 wicket defeat of the home club! PT 179 all out, MCC 180-7 in the penultimate over.
At Marespool, Stuart Seaton’s 2nd XI also got back to winning ways with a comfortable 41 run triumph over Neath..MCC 242-5, Neath 201 all out.
Finally, Skewen ended the ‘A’ XI’s unbeaten trot at Murton, with a win by 15 runs..Skewen 200-6, MCC 185 all out.
Your correspondent is away early tomorrow morning (26th) and, therefore, will not have time to scribe reports this week..sorry!

Next Saturday (1st), the 1st XI play host to Bridgend at Marespool, whilst the 2nd XI and ‘A’ XI have away games at Clydach & Cowbridge respectively.
On the following day, Sunday 2nd, the 1st XI have a home tie against Ammanford in Round 2 of this year’s Welsh Cup competition..start 1.30pm.
