The Club is very keen to offer all young girls the opportunity to “have a go” and to get involved in cricket!
A number of girls have played Junior cricket for MCC (and Wales!), including Hetti Gilchrist and Nicola McCabe, by mixing with our boys.
Now, under the guidance of Grade 2 qualified Club coach Laura Aingworth and following various introductory “one-off” initiatives during the last two seasons, we wish to properly respond to the interest shown and help many more girls develop their interest and potential within their own environment!
- Cricket will be available to all girls, regardless of ability, aged 7 – 11.
- Training will be held on our ground on Friday evenings from 4pm – 5pm
- The actual start date will be confirmed asap

- Please note this is separate to our very successful ECB All-Stars scheme..see the entry under “Junior Cricket” in the menu. Girls can take part in both!
