Well..with a ray or two of sunshine, Marespool looking a picture, boys and older boys finding their cricket kit and hey-ho, off we go!

- On Friday night, our Under 15s trounced Gowerton by 9 wickets to canter through to R2 of Cricket Wales’ U15 Welsh Cup!
- Yesterday, Aneurin Norman led his MCC XI to a comfortable win by 39 runs over Gorseinon in the first of the weekend’s friendly fixtures.
- Then today, Tim Hemp was the victorious captain as his MCC XI defeated Dunvant by 107 runs!

MACSEN DENMAN v DUNVANT TODAY!
Coming in at number 8, he coolly struck 32no from 23 balls (2 fours & a six) before the break, and then finished the game off in style with the ball!
I could be “cruel” and say “look it up”, using the link above but, ok then, Tim brought Macsen on to bowl, with the scoreboard reporting 10-man Dunvant 69-6!
Three wickets to clinch the home win! MD bowled just three deliveries, and took a hat-trick..ALL BOWLED!!
Well done to all three teams, especially Macsen! If it rains for the rest of the season, you can already claim to have had a great summer!
The Senior League season starts next Saturday (3rd). Our 1st XI travel east to Malpas CC, Hempy leads his 2nd XI v Ammanford at Marespool whilst our ‘A’ XI take on Merthyr at the Club’s original home of Underhill Park!
