{"id":5197,"date":"2013-12-07T11:49:06","date_gmt":"2013-12-07T11:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/?p=5197"},"modified":"2013-12-07T17:16:21","modified_gmt":"2013-12-07T17:16:21","slug":"aneurin-norman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/?p=5197","title":{"rendered":"Aneurin Norman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To complete a magnificent year for our Club both in terms of team achievements and recognition of individuals, Aneurin &#8220;Noddy&#8221; Norman has just about capped the lot!<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday (5th), for his feats for the Wales Minor Counties 3 Day Championship XI, \u00a0the Minor Counties Cricket Association announced that Noddy was to receive The Wilfred Rhodes Trophy as the MCCA Player of The Year for 2013!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Aneurin-Norman-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Aneurin Norman 1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Aneurin-Norman-1-300x200.jpg\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-5204\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Aneurin-Norman-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Aneurin-Norman-1.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/nye-norman-batting.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"nye norman batting\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/nye-norman-batting-300x175.jpg\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5203\" alt=\"\" width=\"269\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Apart from his sterling efforts for the Club, Noddy took 19 wickets for 141 runs in his 5 games for WMC &#8211; furthermore, he conceded only 1.5 runs from each of his 94 overs!\u00a0In his 8 innings, Noddy also notched 2 fifties during his 184 runs &#8211; his batting average was 23.
