{"id":18503,"date":"2024-05-30T15:44:47","date_gmt":"2024-05-30T15:44:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/?p=18503"},"modified":"2024-06-01T10:27:24","modified_gmt":"2024-06-01T10:27:24","slug":"rip-dave-thomas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mumblescricket.com\/?p=18503","title":{"rendered":"RIP DAVE THOMAS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">I<strong>t is with great sadness that we learn that Dave Thomas, Life Member, former player, Secretary, President, stalwart, TRUE legend etc etc etc of MCC, has just passed away at home, after a long period of ill health. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Despite that, and with customary guts, determination and humour, Dave has been able to watch some cricket this season. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Our Club owes Dave so much in terms of dedication, effort &amp; hours donated over several decades, including when Marespool was bought in the mid 70&#8217;s.
