Once again this year, the MacMillan Round Gower Charity Walk ended at the Club on Saturday (10th Sept).<\/p>\n
All credit to the organisers of this marvellous annual fund raiser – the day was a rip-roaring success! On what turned out to be a dry day, over 1000 walkers completed the 22 mile stroll. This number included several from the Club who participated as “Team Owain” in memory of Owain Baglow who passed away last year. And although it’ll take a few weeks for all the walkers to recover & collect all monies pledged, some \u00a370000 is likely to have been raised!!<\/p>\n
Mike, Sue, Gareth & Allan “Nice Shorts” Baglow thank everyone who sponsored their team for their great generosity. All team members, even John Blyth, Morgan Hodges, Gareth Jones & Jen Rees, finished the Walk so if anybody else wishes to donate, please send your cheque to Mike at 115 Summerland Lane, Caswell, Swansea SA3 4RS.
