The summer traffic on the one road into Mumbles can often cause delays; please allow extra time for your journey, especially when (if!) the sun&#8217;s out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Directions from Swansea \/ M4: (Sat-Nav &#8211; SA3 4JE)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From Swansea, follow the signs for <strong>Mumbles &amp; Gower<\/strong> on the <strong>A4067<\/strong> coast road around Swansea Bay. Keep the sea on your left for 6 miles to Mumbles (see picture below).&nbsp; Aim for the pier and lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/west+cross.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"west+cross\" src=\"..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/west+cross.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"130\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Half a mile<strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">after<\/span><\/strong> the &#8216;Welcome to Mumbles&#8217; sign, go straight on at the first roundabout, passing the West Cross Inn on your left. Continue for another half a mile past the signs for the Norton House Hotel and Beaufort Inn.<\/p>\n<p>Entering Mumbles itself, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">go straight on at the mini roundabout<\/span><\/strong> passing the White Rose Pub on your right. Stay on the B4433 seafront&nbsp;road for about 2 miles with the shops, hotels and restaurants on your right.<\/p>\n<p>Go past the entrances to The Pier, uphill past the &#8216;Big Green Apple&#8217; kiosk, and then past the entrances to the Castellmare Restaurant, the Coastguard Centre and the large car park overlooking the Lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p>At Forte&#8217;s Ice Cream Parlour, turn right up the hill and about a minute&#8217;s drive away on your left is a narrow turning, signposted <strong>OLD PLUNCH LANE<\/strong>, this leads to the ground about 50 yards off the main road.<\/p>\n<p>Please slow down and take extra care when entering and leaving the ground.
