It doesn't feel that good on Sunday mornings...
We now serve chilled Guinness in pints via the new Guinness Draught Surge system - good news for Hempy, Tino, Nick and many other fans of the stout tipple! All the other favourites remain, as well as Cava amd several new products.
Some new Membership Cards remain ready for collection. All paid-up Members use their cards for discounted drinks (an average saving of about 20p a pint) at the new electronic 'swipe' till. Membership cards are also available to Sponsors and Advertisers.
Please have your Membership card to hand when ordering drinks in 2010.
After absorbing three price increases from the brewery during 2008 &2009 - and two Budget increases - the Club was forced to raise its prices on average by about 10p a pint. Our prices remain very competitive - thank you for your essential support.
Non-members pay more for beer, spirits and wine in 2010.
Example prices 2010 - Beck's Vier; Member 2.60 / Non member 2.80; Stella 2.80 / 3.00; Cwrw Braf draught 2.50 / 2.70; Guinness Surge (pint) 2.80 / 3.00; Strongbow 2.60 / 2.80

Wildlife at Marespool
Mumbles Cricket's Head Gamekeepers - John Blyth and Geoff Thomas - report plenty of activity among the Marespool wildlife (not Nellie, Hodges and crew drinking Taffies!) The unofficial - and most unwelcome - Club Mole was eliminated and is now being better used to make a small hat, though we fear more of 'Adrian's' family remain on site.
However, it's not all death and destruction as we also welcome a new visitor to the ground. We are delighted to say we have a pheasant living near Marespool where he is regularly seen yomping and waddling around the outfield and squawking from the banks (a bit like Nellie?) The Chairman has already tried to get a Social Membership payment from him...
Roast pheasant is off the menu for cricket teas this summer.

Last season's charity 20/20 between Mumbles CC and The Ospreys attracted a crowd of more than 1,500 to Marespool and raised £1,500 for LATCH, the Welsh-based Children's Cancer Charity. Shown above are Ospreys Coach Sean Holley and player Marty Holah with John and Peter Blyth presenting the cheque to LATCH. Details of the 2010 rematch below.

On Sunday, August 15, Marespool will host the Premier Division Women's County Championship match between Wales and Lancashire. More details follow soon.
