CLUB MEMBERSHIP 2010

The Club would like to thank all its Members, Sponsors and Advertisors for their continuing and invaluable support, both financial and in many other ways, in the running and further development of the Club.

Your contributions, support and involvement is greatly valued and vital to cricket in our community and to the future success and growth of Mumbles Cricket Club for Players and Members of all ages, their families and friends, and for the many visitors who enjoy our fun, friendly and sensibly ambitious cricket club on the clifftop.

Whilst the Clubhouse and ground is maintained entirely by a loyal band of volunteers, there are never enough ! As ever, the Club always welcomes help - hands-on and otherwise. Please get in touch if you can donate some spare time once in a while, or if you have any ideas or suggestions.

The new, electronic scorebox completed in April, 2009; another major improvement at Marespool for players and spectators. Membership subscriptions - and bar takings ! - sponsorship and outside events make this type of development possible.

2010 MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS include;-

• All paid-up Members and Sponsors will receive a personal MCC Membership Card entitling them to specially discounted, Members Only bar prices in 2010. (E.g. Savings of about 20p a pint.)
  

• In 2010, MCC Members can take advantage of exclusive Special Promotions offered by local MCC sponsors and businesses. The latest information will be on the website's SPECIAL OFFERS page.

•  Senior and Junior Mumbles Players enjoy special discounts on cricket equipment from PROBATS Ltd, Swansea, courtesy of Darren Thomas. Darren, formerly of England A, Glamorgan and Essex, is our new Head Coach for Senior Cricket. See the SPECIAL OFFERS page. 

• A new range of SURRIDGE playing / leisurewear clothing is available to all Members. Please check it out on the Club Clothing page

• All MCC Members receive a substantial discount for the hire of the Clubhouse and / or marquee for private functions.

As soon as it is financially possible, the Club plans to redevelop and extend the Clubhouse to provide enhanced changing rooms, new separate shower facilities & extra storage. Our architect has drafted some plans which are now being considered.
